Excel Fiscalisation

Getting Started

  1. Download the Excel Template and Application
    After creating a virtual device, download the predefined Excel template and application from the platform using the link below:

  2. Installation
    To install theapplication, you simply run it as admin in your machine. it will give you an option to add the device ID for your virtual device and select the FDMS enviroment to operate in. -Test envrioment - allows you to do test invoices for testing purposes. -Production enviroment- Allows you to do live transactions that will be recorded as sales and credit note by ZIMRA. these invoices can be issued to clients Device Section

    After you have insterted the device ID and selected the enviroment, you simply click “next” then “install” to install the excel virtual configurations.

  3. Excel Template
    After installation, open the downloaded Excel template to access the Virtual Fiscalisation tools.

    On the toolbar, you will find a Virtual Device tab.

    The Virtual Device tab includes fiscalisation operations such as:

    • Open Fiscal Day
    • Close Fiscal Day
    • Submit Invoice
    • Settings
    • Get Fiscal Day Status

    Device Section

    • Open Fiscal Day
      This operation retrieves certificates and the license key from your Fiscal Cloud account, indicating that the fiscal day is open and ready for transactions.

    • Close Fiscal Day
      Use this operation to close the fiscal day once all transactions for the day are complete.

    • Submit Invoice
      This operation allows you to fiscalise the Excel invoice you have created.

    • Settings
      The settings operation lets you view or update the device ID and configure the FDMS environment you are operating in.

    • Get Fiscal Day Status
      This operation enables you to check the device status to determine whether the fiscal day is open or closed.
